OUR MISSION: WOMEN EMBRACING WOMEN FOR A COMMON CAUSE BY CREATING A LOVING BOND IN EVERY STITCH.
OUR VISION: TO CREATE AN ONLINE MARKET OF ITEMS WHOSE PROFITS WILL DIRECTLY IMPACT THE NEEDS OF THESE PATIENTS.
We are excited to announce a new program called Embraceable Wraps. See our recent story in The News Press.
Terri Eisenfeld and Lois Geisler want women undergoing chemotherapy to be as comfortable as possible during the procedure, as it can be a long and uncomfortable experience. These two ladies love to knit and decided to make a difference with their craft. The result of their efforts, Embraceable Wraps provides wraps, hats, blankets and socks to chemo patients.
It all started when Terri and Lois were asked to knit shawls for local breast cancer patients. They wanted to take it further, and knit different items for patients with all types of cancers. They put out a call to others in the community who love to knit and crochet, recruited a small army to help out, and Embraceable Wraps was born.
